Very robust, functional alpine touring backpack for alpinists
The PEAK 45 Black Raven backpack is made for alpine touring. Thanks to the extremely tear and abrasion-resistant Nylon 420D Manstar material, the rucksack is very robust. The wide, padded shoulder and hip straps ensure a high level of carrying comfort, distributing the load evenly between the shoulders and hips. A circumferential front zipper allows direct access to the main compartment. The PEAK 45 also scores points with a separate safety compartment, attachment options for rope, ice axe and crampons as well as a separate map compartment and a hip pocket. The backpack is also equipped with hydration system preparation and an illustration of alpine emergency signals.

The special feature of this rucksack is the back system made from pressed Swiss wool. Just as with the clothing, mountain sports enthusiasts benefit from the unique moisture and climate management of the wool and thus from a comfortable and dry feeling on the back. Thanks to the wool, the backpack back can absorb almost 30 times more moisture than a comparable foam back and is almost 7% more breathable than the latter. Another advantage of wool is that the surface of the back system dries faster. The full-contact back lies close to the body and offers optimum weight distribution. The back construction also consists of two aluminum struts, which ensure high stability and comfort even when carrying heavy loads.
