Product Information "Ortovox Powder Rider 16 Backpack 16 l Dark Wild Herbs"
The Ortovox Powder Rider 16 is the compact freeride backpack for powder days and short tours: 16 liters, 660 grams, a pre-shaped back panel that fits snugly against the body and doesn’t flap around while riding, and a mount for a shovel and probe that’s easy to access without rummaging. Main compartment accessible from the front, integrated helmet mesh, and skis can be attached diagonally or side-by-side. The material is 600D polyester made from 100% recycled fibers.
Ortovox Powder Rider 16: Freeride backpack with space for emergency gear
For a day at the ski resort with side trips off-piste, you don’t need a 30-liter backpack, but you do need a shovel and probe within easy reach, space for gloves, skins, and snacks—plus a fit that stays secure even during jumps and fast turns. The Powder Rider 16 does exactly that: The pre-shaped back panel hugs your body, the chest and hip straps keep it in place, and the capacity is enough for the essentials without the backpack getting in the way on the lift. Your safety gear is stored in a dedicated, quick-access compartment, and the bright interior lets you find everything even in low light. If you want to hike up a section, you can attach your skis diagonally or side-by-side to the backpack and stow your helmet in the mesh pocket.
