Tool-free coupling

The FollowMe tandem coupling is attached to the rear axle of your bike and connected to the front axle of the child’s bike via a second adapter. While riding, the front wheel of the child’s bike lifts slightly off the ground, while your child steers, pedals, and brakes independently – so the feeling of independence is preserved, even though you are firmly connected to each other. The low pivot point ensures that the combination remains calm and predictable even when leaning, taking tight corners, or braking abruptly. As soon as an intersection, a steep climb, or a busy street is behind you, you release the coupling without tools, and your child simply rides on as if nothing had happened. If you do not need the system at the moment, it can be folded compactly and stored in a bag on the luggage rack or in a backpack.
At the heart of the system is the FollowMe children's tandem coupling, the complete set for getting started directly. Depending on which axle your parent bike has, you will also need the right adapter, because not every bike is equipped with a quick-release skewer as standard. Despite its robust construction made of chrome-plated, powder-coated steel, the FollowMe tandem coupling weighs only about 4 kilograms and can be permanently mounted on the parent’s bike without noticeably affecting the ride. The system is designed for a load capacity of up to 45 kilograms, including the child’s bike, and is therefore suitable for children’s bikes ranging from 12 to 20 inches. When folded, the hitch measures only about 52 x 45 x 23 centimeters, making it easy to transport or store when not in use. The system is compatible with most parent bikes ranging from 26 to 29 inches, including trekking, hybrid, and mountain bikes, as well as e-bikes with tires up to 2.5 inches wide. The “ FollowMe ” tandem coupling was developed and engineered in Switzerland, with a special focus on everyday safety.
