The e-bikes are primarily universal pedelecs that are also very suitable for everyday use in the city. The motors used are Shimano Steps mid-drive motors. However, there are also e-bikes that are equally suitable for both asphalt and bumpy terrain. There is hardly a bike segment that is currently more popular than e-bikes. Top new battery and motor technology and the ever-improving integration of batteries with drive support are giving e-bikes the current trend. Modern city, trekking and mountain bike models have become increasingly popular, because you still have to pedal yourself. What you want to use the extra boost for is up to you, whether you want to commute to work without sitting at your desk in a sweat or perhaps tackle long bike tours that you wouldn't otherwise have dared to do. Or to climb your local mountain in record time on a trail bike in the evening and then speed down rocky trails. In any case, e-bikes are an enrichment for all bike fans and make cycling attractive again for some.
