Ortovox Free Rider 22: Freeride backpack with protection compatibility

Freeriding means fast descents, jumps, and falls—so the backpack mustn’t swing around or get in the way. The Free Rider 22 is flat and form-fitting: the side compression straps cinch it tight, and the Clasp Flex Belt sits like a wide, elastic belt, keeping the backpack in place even while riding. The back pads are soft and positioned so they don’t constrict the spine. The protector pocket fits the Clasp Spine Protector, a certified back protector that you purchase separately. The shovel and probe are stored in their own emergency compartment; you can access the main compartment from the front or from the back. For hiking, skis can be stored diagonally or sideways, the snowboard sideways, ice axes in the two holders, and the helmet in the mesh pocket.

Intended Use
