Ortovox Diract

From beginners to experts: the DIRACT reliably brings you quickly to your buried comrades in an emergency.
The stable display from first reception means less stress in an emergency and enables a faster search. The 3-antenna device is equipped with patented Smart Antenna technology, which analyzes the position of the device in the avalanche and automatically switches to the best transmitting antenna. This gives you up to twice the range and ensures you are found faster.

In addition to the premium avalanche transceiver DIRACT VOICE, the DIRACT offers NO VOICE NAVIGATION, but acoustic and visual support for coarse and fine searches.

Thanks to its reduced, logical design, the DIRACT is particularly easy and intuitive to use, as a single button allows you to quickly mark buried objects or switch to standby mode. Post-avalanche protection automatically switches from search and standby mode to transmit mode to guarantee full protection for searchers. Even in extreme lighting conditions, the full-graphic, extra-large display is easy to read and provides intuitive user guidance in stressful situations thanks to clear instructions and 360° real-time display.

The handy, lightweight 210 gram avalanche transceiver fits securely in the glove thanks to its rubberized grip zones and fits comfortably in a trouser pocket when it is not in the quick-access carrying system, which automatically slides the transceiver out as soon as the buckle is opened. This means that the DIRACT is always quickly and safely to hand and immediately ready for use. The RECCO® reflector integrated into the carrying system acts as a back-up, giving you an additional chance of being found more easily.

The DIRACT has a rechargeable lithium-ion battery that is particularly long-lasting and environmentally friendly. Even at -20°C, the battery reliably supplies energy and cannot leak.

Thanks to the free Ortovox APP (Apple iOS & Android), you get automatic software updates, your warranty is extended to 5 years and you can watch helpful video instructions.
