Ortovox Rescue Set Diract

The RESCUE SET DIRACT contains lightweight and reliable avalanche transceiver equipment for beginners. When selecting the components, we chose particularly intuitive products that can be easily mastered even in stressful situations.

DIRACT
The DIRACT combines intuitive operation with state-of-the-art technology and a handy, well thought-out design. It is reduced to a single function button and provides intuitive user guidance in stressful situations thanks to clear symbols and a 360° real-time display. Equipped with the patented SMART ANTENNA TECHNOLOGY, the DIRACT makes it much easier to find buried victims. The device analyzes the situation in the avalanche and automatically switches to the best transmitting antenna. State-of-the-art, digital 3-antenna technology is just as much a matter of course with Ortovox as the automatic post-avalanche switchover. In addition to the SEND and SEARCH modes, there is also a standby mode for signal suppression during the search. The rechargeable lithium-ion battery provides reliable power even at -20°C and is particularly durable and environmentally friendly.
In addition to the premium avalanche transceiver DIRACT VOICE, the DIRACT offers NO VOICE NVIGATION, but acoustic and visual support for coarse and fine searches.

ALU 240
The entry-level probe with Quick-Lock clamping system: The ALU 240 is reduced to the essentials. The Quick-Lock clamping system enables quick and easy clamping. It is ready for use in seconds and can be released and folded just as quickly. The tension can be readjusted by simply turning the optimized adjusting screw. The voluminous probe tip, which has a significantly larger diameter than the probe elements, promises better penetration. The low weight is achieved by using aluminum with a diameter of 11 mm. Like all our probes, the ALU 240 has an easy-to-read depth marker, a clear 1 m marker and the lowest segment in neon orange to enable optimum adjustment of the shovel strategy.

BADGER
The BADGER is a lightweight aluminum shovel with an ergonomic hybrid handle for maximum power transmission! At 2.5 liters, it has a decent blade volume that can unfold its full rigidity thanks to the stiff construction with a pronounced center bar and raised sidewalls. Step grooves on the upper edge of the blade provide the necessary grip when using shoes, and a centering aid in the stem holder enables quick assembly.
