Product Information "Kaestle TX 77"
Very low weight with typical KÄSTLE performance. Predestined for classic ski touring applications. 77mm ski width enables outstanding performance on the piste and in deep snow. Compared to a classic touring ski of comparable length, the gliding surface increases by approx. 16 %. The SINGLE RADIUS is a master in changing conditions and difficult terrain. The harmonious side shape enables a smooth and exceptional skiing experience.
The particularly light Karuba wood core in combination with the sandwich cap construction enables a very low ski weight. In order to combine a pleasant longitudinal flex with high torsional rigidity, the traditional sandwich core was reinforced with a structural shell (CAP).
The wood core and the corresponding fiberglass reinforcement act like a torsion box and give the ski high torsional stability. It is essential that the internal quality and structure is a high-quality sandwich construction.
A pure GRP binding was chosen, as the main focus of this ski is on the ascent-oriented weight. In addition, HOLLOWTECH technology in the shovel area ensures a further reduction in weight.
The top edge radius in combination with the sandwich cap construction offers optimum protection against wear and tear
