Product Information "Dynafit Blacklight 95 skis"
The Blacklight 95 is a wide and powerful touring ski with a low weight of 1,160 g, which scores with top performance on the descent. Your entry into the backcountry: The Blacklight 95 is the widest ski in the Blacklight Speed series. It was developed for touring skiers for whom no distance is too far in search of the perfect powder. If you want a ski with strong downhill performance, but at the same time want to be as light and efficient as possible on the ascent to the perfect line, then the Blacklight 95 is the model of your choice. With 95 mm underfoot, a larger radius and a longer tip rocker, the ski is made for you to be fast, make big turns in the snow and enjoy powder conditions to the full. The Blacklight 95 has a 100 % UD carbon topsheet. UD is the abbreviation for unidirectional and describes the arrangement of the carbon fibers. Compared to classic carbon, this construction has a higher tensile strength and higher load-bearing capacity with a lower density. The Blacklight 95 is equipped with a wood core made from 100% high-quality paulownia. Thanks to the 3D construction, the flywheel mass is reduced in front of and behind the binding area, thus reducing the overall weight of the ski. This gives you extremely stable skiing characteristics despite the low weight. The rocker construction at the tip and tail and the sidecut are adapted to the respective ski length - this is unique in the ski touring market. This means that the effective edge length remains proportionally the same for all lengths and works independently of the ski length. To ensure the best possible power transmission to the ski, the Blacklight is equipped with a full ABS sidewall. The base also has a special racing grind for even more speed. This allows you to make up valuable time in the "race" for the first turns. Blacklight 95 - your lightweight and high-performance powder specialist.
