The Head replacement soles for Edge and Kaliber ski boots restore worn-out soles to standard condition: The set, consisting of two toe plates and two heel plates, replaces the worn sole parts so that the binding releases correctly again and the boot fits securely in the binding. No screws required—the existing ones are reused.
Head Edge and Kaliber Base Plates: Replaceable Toe and Heel Plates
Worn-out soles are the most common reason why a ski boot no longer fits properly into the binding or why the Z-value is no longer correct. With Head’s original replacement soles, the boot will be like new again in just a quarter of an hour. The set fits the Head Edge and Kaliber models from the 2023/24 through 2026/27 seasons, including the Kaliber Pro and BOA versions. You can replace the soles with a screwdriver; if you’re unsure, we’ll install the plates in our workshop and check the binding settings at the same time.

Assembly
Unscrew the old plates, clean the mounting surface, and tighten the new plates using the existing screws. Then check the sole height on the binding or have us check the binding for you.
Will the replacement soles fit my Head ski boots?
For all Head Edge and Kaliber models from 2023/24 through 2026/27; see the list above. For older models or the Raptor, Formula, and Nexo, please inquire.
Are screws included?
No, the existing screws are reused. If they’re damaged, we have replacement screws in the store.
When do the soles need to be replaced?
When the tread is worn down, the toe has become rounded, or the boot has too much play in the binding. Bindings with worn-out soles will no longer release properly.
Can I replace the plates myself?
Yes, with a screwdriver. It’s important to tighten the screws securely and check the binding afterward.
Is there one size that fits all shoe sizes?
Yes, the plates are the same for all sizes of the models listed.
