Product Information "Classic Clip 1 – folding knife 440C"
A folding knife with character: The Walther Classic Clip 1 combines classic craftsmanship with solid functionality. The walnut handle scales and polished stainless steel bolsters give it a timeless appearance – the knife looks good without sacrificing performance. Whether for hunting, outdoor use, or simply as a reliable everyday knife in your pocket: It cuts a fine figure in every situation.
Walther Classic Clip 1 – Folding knife with 440C blade and backlock
The satin-finished clippoint blade made of 440C steel is ideal for precise cutting tasks with its 98 mm length. 440C is considered one of the best stainless steels in this segment: good hardness, solid edge retention, and easy to resharpen. The blade thickness of 2.8 mm gives the knife enough backbone for outdoor use without becoming unnecessarily heavy.
The locking mechanism works via a backlock system – reliable, proven, and easy to use. The blade locks cleanly into place and can be opened safely with one hand. Overall length 227 mm, weight 165 g. Compact enough for your pocket, large enough for real tasks.
Delivered with leather belt holster
A leather belt holster is included – it matches the knife’s classic look and keeps it ready to hand on your belt. Ideal for hunting or your next outing.
What blade steel does the Classic Clip 1 use?
The blade is made of 440C stainless steel – one of the hardest stainless steels in knife making. It offers good edge retention and is easy to resharpen.
How does the locking mechanism work?
The Classic Clip 1 uses a backlock system. The blade is locked at the back of the handle – this is one of the most stable and reliable locking mechanisms for folding knives.
What is a clippoint blade?
A clippoint blade has a straight spine that slopes concavely shortly before the tip – as if “clipped”. This creates a fine, pointed blade that is well suited for precise work and is especially popular for hunting.
What is included in the scope of delivery?
The Walther Classic Clip 1 is supplied including a leather belt holster.
