The Black Crows Sector is the adjustable freeride ski pole for everything in the ski resort: upper and lower shafts made of 7075 aluminum, Powerlock adjustment from 110 to 135 cm, a rubber grip with a TPU extension for short ascents and traverses, and a flexible 90-mm basket for all snow conditions. 270 g per pole, carbide tip, adjustable strap, color: pink.
Black Crows Sector: Sturdy freeride pole with adjustment
Freeriding in a ski resort means lifts, short hikes, traverses, and descents in everything from powder to broken crust. A standard alpine pole is either too short or too long for this, while a lightweight touring pole is too delicate. The Sector strikes a balance: The 100% aluminum shafts absorb impacts and falls; with the Powerlock, you can adjust the length to be longer for the hike and shorter for the descent; and the extended grip zone allows you to reposition your grip on the slope. The basket is flexible and large enough for powder without getting in the way on the lift.

Intended Use
Suitable for freeride and all-mountain skiing in ski resorts, as well as sidecountry with short ascents. For long ski tours, the lighter Duos Freebird or Trios Freebird is the better choice. You can find additional models in the ski poles section.
Is the Sector a touring pole?
It’s an adjustable freeride pole. It’s ideal for short ascents; for long tours, you’re better off with a lighter pole that packs down smaller.
What length should I set it to?
For downhill skiing: Keep your elbows at a right angle when holding the inverted pole under the basket. For ascents and traverses, make them 5 to 10 cm longer.
Are the baskets interchangeable?
Yes, the 90-mm baskets can be replaced; we carry replacement baskets separately.
For women or men?
Unisex. The adjustment range of 110 to 135 cm accommodates heights from approximately 155 to 190 cm.
