3Feet® Eco ski soles: Eco-friendly comfort for skiers

Choosing the right ski insoles is crucial for comfort, performance, and foot health on the slopes. With the 3Feet® Eco ski insoles, Sidas has developed an eco-friendly solution tailored to different arch types that combines sustainability with high functionality.

What are 3Feet® Eco ski insoles?

Sidas ’s 3Feet® Eco ski insoles are anatomically designed insoles developed specifically for skiers. They account for different arch types—low, medium, and high—and thus offer customized support and comfort. Sidas also places a strong emphasis on environmental sustainability by using recycled materials and minimizing its carbon footprint.

The Importance of the Foot Arch in Skiing

The arch of the foot plays a crucial role in posture and the distribution of body weight. An arch that is not adequately supported can lead to fatigue, pain, and reduced ski control. Therefore, it is important to choose ski insoles that match the individual’s foot arch.

3Feet® Technology: Custom fit for every foot type

Sidas ’s patented 3Feet® technology categorizes feet into three types based on the height of the arch:

  • Low (low arch): Flat feet that require special support.
  • Mid (medium arch): Standard feet that benefit from balanced support.
  • High (high arch): High arches that require targeted cushioning and support.

With this range, Sidas can offer the right insole for every foot type, ensuring optimal comfort and support.

Eco-Friendly Design

Sidas Sidas prioritizes sustainability in the production of the 3Feet® Eco ski insoles:

  • Recycled materials: Use of recycled polyester and Evamic insulation foam to reduce the environmental footprint.
  • Reduced CO2 emissions: The production of the 3Feet® Eco Warm insoles generates approximately 1.9 kg of CO2, while the 3Feet® Eco Winter insoles generate approximately 1.75 kg of CO2.
  • Support for environmental projects: For every insole sold, Sidas donates one euro to the Sidas World Foundation to support the restoration of ecosystems.
