Product Information "Toko Leather Balm"
The Toko Leather Balm is a high-quality care and waterproofing cream for smooth leather shoes or goatskin gloves that are subjected to heavy use—ideal for hiking, skiing, and athletic shoes. The natural, beeswax-based formula reliably protects the leather from water, dirt, and drying out, while maintaining its suppleness and breathability.
Features
- Intensive protection: Beeswax forms a strong protective layer against water and dirt
- Conditions and preserves: Preserves the suppleness and functionality of the leather
- Extends the lifespan: Regular use protects the leather and maintains its quality for years
- Easy to use: Apply evenly, let it soak in briefly, and polish if necessary
- Natural ingredients: Made with beeswax for sustainable and eco-friendly leather care
Application
Clean the leather thoroughly, then apply a small amount Toko Leather Balm with a soft cloth or sponge, and rub it in evenly. Then let it dry briefly and polish it again if necessary. Ideal for smooth-leather hiking, outdoor, and athletic shoes.
FAQ
What types of shoes is the Leather Balm suitable for?
The product is suitable for all smooth-leather shoes—especially hiking, trekking, and athletic shoes.
Can the Leather Balm also be used on suede?
No, it is intended exclusively for smooth leather. For suede or nubuck leather, we recommend a special care spray.
How often should the Leather Balm be applied?
Apply every 2–4 weeks, depending on use and weather conditions, to maintain the protective and conditioning effects.
Does the product affect the color of the leather?
No, the Toko Leather Balm is transparent and preserves the leather’s natural color.
What ingredients are included?
The balm is made from natural beeswax and is free of silicones and fluorinated compounds.
For textiles and membrane shoes, a spray is more suitable than a balm. You can find the selection under “Waterproofing for Shoes and Clothing.”
