Hotronic XLP Power Set 2S BT Battery Set

The Hotronic XLP Power Set 2S BT is the battery system for BOOTDOC heated socks and Hotronic heated insoles: two Li-ion battery packs with 4400 mAh, Bluetooth control via the Hotronic Heat app, and a USB-C charger. Depending on the heat setting, a single charge lasts 4 to 20 hours—meaning several days of skiing on setting 1. Important: The set includes only the battery packs and the charger; the heated socks or insoles are sold separately.

The XLP 2S BT batteries are compact and lightweight and attach to the top of your socks, ski pants, or boot shells using the clip. There are four heat settings to choose from; setting 4 is the “Boost” mode for very cold days. You can adjust the heat directly on the battery or conveniently via Bluetooth in the Hotronic Heat app—for both batteries simultaneously or separately. Four LEDs indicate the heat setting and charge level; the battery automatically shuts off when the battery is empty. Charging is done using the included USB-C charger or on the go from any USB-C source, including a power bank.

Which socks go with it?

The set fits all BOOTDOC Heat Socks with an XLP connector and the Hotronic heated insoles. For a full day of skiing with some padding, choose the Heat Socks Surround Comfort EVO; for tight-fitting ski boots, the thin Surround Thin EVO; and for racing boots, the Surround Race. One set is enough for one pair of socks. If you already have XLP batteries, you only need the socks.

Care

Charge the batteries after a day of skiing and store them at room temperature; keep them at about half charge over the summer. Always unplug them before washing your socks. The batteries are splash-proof but not dishwasher-safe.
