Who is the M-9 designed for?
For anyone who skis using the layering method: wear the Z-2 EPE or Y-1 EPE as a base layer, and as an outer jacket during ascents or in the spring. Also great for hiking, climbing, and everyday wear.
Care
Wash at 30 degrees on the gentle cycle, turned inside out with zippers closed. Use mild detergent; do not use fabric softener.
How does the sizing work?
Men’s sizes feature an ergonomic, athletic cut that leaves room for a midlayer. If you wear thick midlayers underneath or prefer a looser fit, choose one size larger.
Can I wear the M-9 on its own?
Yes. In mild weather, it can be worn as a standalone insulated jacket; in cold weather, as a midlayer under a shell.
How warm is the M-9?
40 g PrimaLoft Gold Eco—that’s lightweight insulation for active days. For the chairlift at minus 15 degrees, you’ll need a shell over it.
Is the jacket waterproof?
No, Pertex fabric is wind- and water-repellent, but it is not a membrane.
Who is behind The Mountain Studio?
