Product Information "Ramser Black"
The Ramser Black is the narrow carver in the collection. It catches the edge early, carves clean turns on hard slopes, and remains easy to ride. The design is new: a black topsheet with an eggplant gradient and black sidewalls. The construction and riding characteristics have remained the same.
Many skis are marketed as all-rounders but ultimately fail to truly impress in any area. The Black follows every track as precisely as a giant slalom ski yet remains as agile as a slalom ski. It really shines on long, winding runs with varying radii.
Ramser Black Ski: handcrafted using a sandwich construction
Every “ Ramser ” is carefully handcrafted in a small workshop in northern Italy, near the Swiss border. The wood core, made from Swiss timber, is bonded using the proven sandwich construction with two layers of Titanal and biaxial carbon. This gives the ski torsional stiffness for edge grip and enough damping for a smooth ride, even when the slope gets bumpy in the afternoon.

Frequently Asked Questions About the Ramser Black
What’s new about the current Ramser Black?
The design. The topsheet now features a gradient from black to eggplant, and the sidewalls are black. The wood core, Titanal, sidecut, and radius are identical to the previous Ramser Black.
Which binding fits the Ramser Black?
The ski is delivered “flat,” meaning without bindings or a base plate. You’re free to choose your own bindings. You can find compatible models right here on this page under “Compatible Bindings.”
What length do I need?
That depends on your weight, skill level, and skiing style. As a rough guide, athletic skiers typically choose a ski that reaches about chin height. It’s best to stop by the store, where we’ll help you determine the right length.
What’s the difference between the Ramser nd the Green?
The Black is narrower at 71 mm under the binding and responds more quickly on the edge. The Green is 77 mm wide, offers a smoother ride, and is more forgiving. The construction is the same for both.
What does the Free Service include?
As long as you’re skiing on them, we’ll get them back in shape for free in our workshop as often as you like. Just bring them into the store.
