Product Information "Look Pivot 2.0 13 GW B95 Black Metal"
The Pivot is the binding that freeskiers have relied on for decades, and the 2.0 is the latest version. The rotating heel plate secures the boot all around, rather than just clamping it from the back. For you, that means: You stay in when things get rough, and you can get out when it really counts. The 13 version covers the Z-range from 4.5 to 13, making it suitable for lighter riders who don’t need the full stiffness of the 15 version.
Look Pivot 2.0 13 GW - Freeride binding with swivel heel
The centerpiece is the Turntable heel. It encases the heel of the boot and, in the event of a fall, releases in any direction—including upward—mechanically independent of the front jaw. Added to this is the greatest elastic travel on the market: The binding absorbs lateral and vertical impacts and then re-centers the boot instead of releasing immediately. That’s exactly what makes the difference when you’re riding over worn-out moguls or landing hard.

Short mounting zone, more direct ski flex
The Pivot takes up significantly less space on the ski than a standard binding. This saves weight where it’s most disruptive during turns and allows the ski to flex more naturally under the binding. The ski feels more responsive as a result, and the binding reacts more directly because there’s less material between the boot and the base.
GripWalk and standard alpine soles
You can use both types of soles: the classic alpine sole per ISO 5355 and the profiled GripWalk sole, which makes walking in the parking lot and on the approach significantly easier. The only important thing is that your boot is properly adjusted, because the two standards have different sole heights.
Is size 13 right for me, or do I need size 15?
The Z-value is calculated based on your height, weight, boot sole length, age, and riding style. If your value is below 13, the Z-13 is perfectly sufficient, and you’ll be using it in the middle rather than the top range of the scale, which is better for the binding. Heavy and very aggressive skiers who score above a Z value of 13 need the size 15.
Which skis is the 95 Stopper compatible with?
The stopper covers a waist width of 75 to 95 mm. On a wider ski, it will scrape the snow and may bend. On significantly narrower skis, it will stick out unnecessarily far. Measure the waist of your ski directly below the binding to be sure.
Can I mount the binding myself?
Drilling and adjustment should be done in a workshop using a template and a calibrated testing device. This is the only way to ensure that the release is tested and documented in accordance with standards. We’ll mount and adjust the bindings at ski-shop.ch if you bring your skis and boots in or send them to us.
What does “180-degree multi-directional release” mean?
The heel releases not only sideways and upward, but across the entire semicircle. Look is the only brand with a true mechanical upward release mechanism that operates independently of the front jaw. This ensures more reliable release in the event of a backward fall.
What is the stand height of the Pivot?
The Pivot has a relatively low profile, which makes edge engagement more direct. The exact value depends on the type of boot sole installed. If you want to mount the binding on a ski with existing holes, please contact us beforehand so we can check the drilling pattern.
