The Leki WCR Evo Lite SL TR is the slalom pole for young racers: lightweight, stable, and featuring the smaller Trigger 3D SL Compact grip designed for children’s and teenagers’ hands. The 16-mm aluminum Airfoil shaft can withstand even hard gate impacts.
Leki WCR Evo Lite SL TR: Slalom pole for young skiers
The Compact grip, made of 2K Soft material, fits securely in small hands, and the Trigger Vario Strap is adjustable in sizes S, M, and L and grows with the child. With the Trigger 3D System, you can click directly into the grip with a Trigger glove; without a glove, you use the strap. Racing baskets and a steel tip are the racing standard.

What age group is the WCR Evo Lite SL TR designed for?
Generally for children and teenagers between about 8 and 14 years old, depending on height. The key factor is a pole length between 95 and 110 cm.
Is the grip suitable for small hands?
Yes, the Trigger 3D SL Compact grip is smaller than the standard grip, and the strap can be adjusted to three different sizes.
Do I need Trigger gloves?
No. With Trigger gloves, you click right in; without them, use the Trigger Vario Strap loop.
How do I choose the length?
Turn the pole upside down and reach under the basket; your forearm should be horizontal. For growing children, it’s better to choose a pole that’s a bit short rather than too long.
Can I change the basket?
Yes, the baskets are interchangeable and can be swapped out for other Leki baskets.
