Product Information "Leki PRC 850 TR Cross-Country Skis Carbon-Regal Blue"
The Leki PRC 850 TR is the cross-country ski pole for ambitious recreational athletes who want precision, control, and clean power transfer on the trail. The lightweight carbon shaft and the new Nordic Trigger Shark grip make it a top-tier pole just below the pure racing models.
Leki PRC 850 TR: Carbon shaft with Nordic Trigger Shark grip
The 16-mm carbon shaft weighs only 169 g per pole and remains stable during fast movements. The Nordic Trigger Shark grip, made of 2K cork, was developed specifically for cross-country skiing: With the Shark Loop, you can click in in a matter of seconds, and the Quick Release Button releases the connection. The Speed Shape of the grip ensures precise pole control, while the Fin Vario System allows you to swap out the tip and basket depending on the trail or for roller skiing in the summer.

Applications and Length
For skating and classic-style cross-country skiing, as well as for roller skis. Available in 150, 155, 160, 165, and 170 cm. For skating poles, choose a length approximately equal to your height minus 20 cm; for classic poles, choose a length equal to your height minus 30 cm.
Care
Do not crush carbon tubes, and dry them after training. Replace tips and plates using the Fin Vario System when worn.
Which length is best for skating or classic style?
For skating, choose a length approximately equal to your height minus 20 cm; for classic style, minus 30 cm. So, for a height of 175 cm, that’s 155 cm for skating and 145 cm for classic style.
How does the Trigger Shark grip work?
The Shark Loop strap clicks into the handle and provides a direct connection between your hand and the pole. With the Quick Release button, you can release it in a single motion—for example, when refueling at a aid station.
Can I use the pole for roller skiing in the summer?
Yes. With the Fin Vario System, you can swap out the base plate and tip for a roller ski tip.
What size straps are included?
The 150–160 cm lengths come with S–M–L straps, while the 165 and 170 cm lengths come with M–L–XL straps. The strap is adjustable.
How durable is carbon compared to aluminum?
Carbon is lighter and stiffer, but it cannot withstand lateral impacts or crushing. It is the material of choice for cross-country skiing.
