The Leki WCR Lite SL 3D is the slalom pole for young racers and lightweight adults: a 16-mm aluminum shaft that clears the slalom gates, an airfoil profile for reduced drag, and the Trigger 3D SL grip, which connects the glove directly to the pole. Available in neon pink with black and neon yellow, in lengths from 90 to 120 cm.
Leki WCR Lite SL 3D Neon Pink: Slalom pole with Trigger 3D
The 16-mm-diameter tube, made of high-strength HTS 6.5 aluminum, is designed to withstand the impacts that occur at every gate in slalom and springs back instead of bending. The Trigger 3D SL grip has a compact design and fits smaller hands. With a Trigger glove or the Trigger Vario strap, you can click in and out without fumbling with the strap, and in the event of a fall, the system releases in three directions, with a release area four times larger than that of the older Trigger S grips. The steel tip holds up on icy slopes, and the small basket doesn’t get caught when making contact with the gate.

Intended Use
For slalom training and races in youth competitions, for JO skiers and teenagers who want a real racing pole with a trigger system, and for lightweight adults up to a pole length of 120 cm. The matching impact guard is sold separately; for giant slalom, there are the curved WCR GS models.
Correct Length
Hold the pole upside down under the basket: Your forearm should be horizontal. As a rule of thumb, use your height multiplied by 0.7; for slalom, go a touch shorter. For a height of 130 cm, 90 cm is suitable; for 150 cm, 105 cm; for 160 cm, 110 to 115 cm; and for 170 cm, 120 cm.
Do I need Trigger gloves?
No. With the Trigger Vario strap, the pole works with any glove. With Leki Trigger gloves, you don’t need the strap and are directly connected to the pole.
Does the impact guard fit on it?
Yes, the Leki World Cup Pro impact protector fits the Trigger 3D SL grip and must be ordered separately.
Is the pole also suitable for adults?
Yes, for shorter and lighter adults, with lengths up to 120 cm. Taller riders should choose the WCR SL 3D with an 18 mm shaft.
What’s the difference between this and the Trigger S?
Trigger 3D releases in three directions instead of just upward and has a release range four times larger. This prevents your hand from getting caught on the pole in the event of a fall.
Can I shorten the pole?
Yes, in our workshop we shorten fixed-length poles to the desired length.
