Holmenkol ’s Performance Liquid 21 is the liquid version of the Performance Bar 21: a fluorine-free high-performance wax for alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, and snowboarding that covers almost the entire winter at snow temperatures ranging from 0 to minus 20 degrees. Apply with a sponge, let it dry briefly, brush it out—and you’re done. 100 ml, complies with all regulations of international skiing federations, manufactured in Germany.

If you don’t want a different wax for every day, this offers the widest range of applications in the “ Holmenkol ” line in liquid form. The formula is the same as that of the Performance Bar 21, but without the need for an iron, waxing stand, or scraper. This makes the Liquid a quick solution before training, at the ski lodge, or in the trunk of your car. Glide performance remains high across the entire temperature range, and the wax layer lasts for one day of skiing under normal use.

Application
Clean and brush the base, shake the bottle, apply the wax thinly and evenly with the sponge, let it dry for 5 to 10 minutes, then brush it out with the nylon brush and polish with the finishing cloth.
What does the “21” in the name mean?
This is the fluorine-free formula that Holmenkol introduced in 2021 following the fluorine ban. The wax is therefore also approved for FIS races.
Does the liquid replace hot wax?
For quick maintenance, yes. For basic preparation and the longest-lasting results, the ironed-on Performance Bar 21 remains the foundation; the liquid is applied on top as a refresher.
How long does one application last?
About one day for normal skiing; less on aggressive artificial snow.
