Twenty years of Supershape, and to celebrate the anniversary, here’s the ski that Didier Cuche helped develop himself. The Head Supershape Limited is a strictly limited edition based on the Supershape e-Magnum, featuring a black-and-white base design with bold neon pink accents on the lettering and bindings. For anyone who skis fast and wants a ski on the piste that carves cleanly into the edge and responds instantly.
Head Supershape Limited: the anniversary edition of an icon
For twenty years, the Supershape series has stood for precise carving on hard slopes. For this limited edition, HEAD has adopted the proven construction of the e-Magnum and given it a unique look. Didier Cuche was involved from the initial design concepts all the way through to practical testing on the snow. The result is a ski that performs exactly as Supershape skiers have come to expect—and immediately stands out on the lift.
At its core, the World Cup sandwich construction features Titanal layers and graphene. Added to this is EMC, the Energy Management Circuit: Two piezo-ceramic elements in the ski convert vibrations generated while skiing into electrical energy, which is then filtered out by a graphene layer. You’ll notice this on icy slopes—the ski stays stable instead of fluttering. With Crossforce Carbon, the binding sits directly on the carbon layer, without an intermediate layer, which transfers power more directly to the edge.

Who the Supershape Limited is designed for
This isn’t a beginner’s ski. You should be able to carve cleanly on the edge and be willing to apply pressure. If you push this ski to its limits, it’ll give you a lot in return. If you’re just looking to glide leisurely down a blue run, you’ll be happier with a softer model. The lengths ranging from 149 to 170 cater to both men and women; when choosing, the usual rule applies: shorter for tight turns and less effort, longer for speed and a smooth ride.
Service and Advice
We’ll mount the skis and adjust the bindings to fit your boots in our own workshop, including testing according to BFU specifications. Upon request, we can give the skis a race-cut base before your first run. If you have questions about length, give us a call—we’ll sort it out in five minutes.
How does the Limited edition differ from the standard Supershape e-Magnum?
The construction is the same. The difference lies in the design of the anniversary edition and the number of units produced. The limited edition is produced in small quantities and sold exclusively through select specialty retailers.
Are the bindings included?
Yes. The price includes the skis and the Protector EVO PR 13 GW binding with GripWalk compatibility. We’ll mount and adjust them to fit your boots before shipping.
Which length should I choose?
As a rough guide: chin height to nose height. If you like short, quick turns or are lighter, go for the shorter length. If you like to pick up speed, choose the longer one. If your height and skiing style fall somewhere in between, we’d be happy to advise you personally.
How many pairs are there?
This edition is strictly limited and available only at select retailers. What is shown as “available” in the shop reflects the actual inventory. Once a specific length is sold out, it will not be restocked.
Are these skis suitable for off-piste use?
It’s a piste ski. It works in soft snow off-piste, but its true home is the groomed, hard piste.
