Product Information "Dynafit Radical Pro Golden Lime - Ultra Yellow"
The Dynafit Radical Pro ends the age-old question of whether a touring boot should be built for the ascent or the descent. With a flex rating of 120, 60 degrees of shaft rotation, and the Hoji Lock System, you get both in one boot without compromising either aspect.
Radical Pro – Ski touring boot with Hoji Lock and Flex 120
In downhill mode, the Hoji Lock System connects the shaft and shell seamlessly into a single unit. There’s no residual play where power is lost, and the boot transfers power directly to the ski. When you flip the lever, the shaft releases 60 degrees of movement, allowing you to walk without any noticeable resistance. A clever solution: The buckles and Ultra Lock Strap are connected to the Ski-Walk mechanism via a cable system. A single motion tightens or releases the entire system.

Ascending without power loss
As soon as the lever is released, the shaft rotates freely forward and backward. There’s no elastic band working against you with every step, and it stays that way throughout the entire tour. The 60-degree angle is sufficient for steep kick turns as well as for long, flat ascents.
Handle for when the ski is hanging from your backpack
The Vibram sole, with its traction lugs, provides grip where conditions get tricky: on icy trails, wet rock, and hard-packed old snow. The toe box has a standard design, so automatic crampons will attach without an adapter.
Fit and Boot Fitting
With a last width of 104 millimeters, the Radical Pro is one of the more generously cut touring boots. If you have a wide foot or a high instep, you’ll find plenty of room here. The Dynafitter 10 liner is thermoformable, and the newly integrated bootboard gives us extra flexibility for customization in the workshop.
Which bindings is the Radical Pro compatible with?
Compatible with all pin and tech bindings. The boot features the Dynafit Quick-Step-In system with inserts at the toe and heel. It is not designed for classic alpine bindings.
Do automatic crampons fit?
Yes. There’s a standard toe and heel edge, so automatic crampons will fit without an adapter. This wasn’t possible with older Dynafit models featuring Speed Nose.
What’s the benefit of the new Flex Tongue?
It provides a progressive flex instead of a hard stop, making the ride feel more precise. At the same time, it reduces resistance during the ascent because it gives way as you push off.
How tight should I fasten the instep buckle?
The instep buckle uses a ratchet system and can be adjusted in fine increments, even while wearing thick gloves. This ensures a secure fit across the instep without causing pressure points.
What size should I choose?
Sizes are given in Mondopoint, which is foot length in centimeters. Measure your foot while standing and choose the appropriate Mondopoint size. Buying a size that’s too big will cause problems on the ascent because your heel will slip around. If you’re unsure, come to the store—we’ll measure you and help you find the right fit.
