Therm-ic As is common with heated socks, the Winter Reflector works without electricity: a reflective technical fiber is knitted into the merino wool and reflects the heat emitted by the foot back, similar to a thermal blanket, but breathable. Merino ensures that your feet stay dry, since moisture is the most common cause of cold toes. The anatomical design—with left- and right-specific foot shapes—and the reinforcements at the shin, heel, and toes provide support inside the shoe and make the socks durable.

How thick is the sock?
Medium thickness with padding on the shin, heel, and toes. They’re a bit too thick for tight-fitting racing boots, but they fit well in regular ski boots.
What exactly does the Reflector fiber do?
It reflects the foot’s heat radiation back instead of transferring it to the boot. The effect is noticeable, but it’s not a heating system—for that, you’ll need the Therm-ic heated socks.
