The “ Therm-ic ” Ski Extra Warm is the warmest unheated ski sock from Therm-ic:. Merino wool, silk, and cashmere are woven into a soft, technical knit that retains plenty of warmth while still wicking away moisture. Protective zones on the shin, calf, and instep provide padding where the ski boot presses. Available in black.

Cashmere and silk are rarely used in ski socks because they’re expensive, but they offer two benefits that merino alone can’t provide: cashmere provides insulation while being very lightweight, and silk feels cool and smooth against the skin and absorbs moisture. Combined with merino wool, this results in a sock that’s warm without feeling bulky. The Moisture-Vent technology in the arch wicks sweat away from under the foot, while macro-channels around the foot channel moisture out of the shoe. Technical fibers ensure that the sock dries overnight.
