The Mountain Studio P-3 are insulated men’s ski pants designed for the slopes and ski resorts: a three-layer ALP-3 stretch membrane with a 30,000 mm water column, 60 g of PrimaLoft Gold Eco insulation, and a fabric made of 87 percent nylon and 13 percent spandex that moves with you as you carve. The Black Onyx color is part of the 2026/27 collection.

The 3D waistband system pulls the waistband in at the back against the body; behind it is an ergonomic insulation panel made of DuPont Sorona for the lower back while riding the chairlift. Laminated Cordura edge-protection reinforcements (600D) at the leg cuffs withstand ski edges and boot buckles. Two hand pockets, belt loops, embroidered vertical logo, taped seams, PFC-free DWR finish. Repair kit included.

Who is the P-3 designed for?
For skiers and snowboarders who want warm, slim-fitting pants on the slopes. If you do a lot of hiking or backcountry touring, you’re better off with the Y-1 EPE shell pants without insulation.
Care
Wash at 40 degrees or cold, inside out, separately, and with zippers closed. Use mild detergent; do not use fabric softener, bleach, or dry cleaning. Iron at a low temperature and tumble dry on low heat.
How does the sizing work?
Men’s sizes feature an ergonomic, athletic cut that leaves room for a midlayer. If you wear thick midlayers underneath or prefer a looser fit, choose one size larger.
How warm is the P-3?
Medium to light insulation with 60 g PrimaLoft Gold Eco plus a thermal insert at the back waistband, made for days on the slopes in winter.
