The Army Leather Trigger 5-Finger from Hestra is the perfect ski glove for anyone who skis with Leki Trigger poles but still wants to enjoy the quality of Hestra: Army Goat Leather on the palm, durable polyamide on the back of the hand, a removable lining, and the integrated Trigger System loop that clicks directly into the pole grip. Available in black with a light-colored leather palm, sizes 7 through 11.
Hestra Army Leather Trigger 5-Finger: Ski glove with the “ Leki ” Trigger System
Leki Hestra’s Trigger System replaces the classic pole strap: The strap attaches to the glove, snaps into the grip with a click, and releases automatically in the event of a fall. Hestra has integrated it firmly into the palm of the Army Leather Trigger, ensuring a direct grip and allowing the leather to rest against the pole without a bothersome strap. The palm is made of Army Goat Leather, the durable and grippy goatskin that Hestra has been using for decades in its Army Leather line. The back of the hand, made of woven polyamide, is abrasion-resistant and windproof. The removable liner dries separately overnight and can be swapped out for a thinner one in the spring. Pre-shaped fit, short cuff with elasticated edge, Velcro strap at the wrist, and wrist straps to prevent the glove from getting lost on the lift.

Uses
Downhill skiing with Leki Trigger S or Trigger 3D poles, training with a racing club, ski instructors, and anyone who skis frequently in varying conditions. Warm enough for cold lift rides, flexible enough for active skiing.
Size Selection and Care
Hestra Gloves fit true to size. Measure the circumference of your hand (excluding the thumb) at the widest point: Size 7 is approximately 18 cm, 8 approximately 20 cm, 9 approximately 23 cm, 10 approximately 25 cm, and 11 approximately 28 cm. Care for the leather regularly with the Hestra Leather Balm; this keeps it supple and water-repellent. After a day of skiing, remove the lining and let both parts dry at room temperature—never on a heater.
Will the glove fit my poles?
Yes, if your poles have the Leki Trigger S or Trigger 3D system. The glove also works with conventional pole straps; in that case, the Trigger strap simply remains unused.
Is the glove waterproof?
It doesn’t have a membrane. The goatskin is waterproofed and provides good protection against normal snow; for wet snow or rain, a glove with a CZone or Gore-Tex membrane is the better choice.
How warm is the Army Leather Trigger?
This model is one of the moderately warm “ Hestra ” styles and is designed for a typical day on the slopes. If your fingers get cold very quickly, go for the Heater Gauntlet or a mitten.
Can I change the lining?
Yes, the lining is removable. Hestra offers replacement and alternative linings—thinner ones for warm days and thicker ones for cold weather.
What size should I choose?
