Product Information "Daymaker Touring Classic Ski Touring Adapter"
Experience a revolutionary ski touring experience with Daymakers.
Daymakers transform any downhill ski setup into an alpine touring rig for powder snow in seconds. Simply attach climbing skins to your skis, mount the Daymakers to your boots, step into your skis and start touring. Climb with confidence thanks to the stable and torsionally stiff design of Daymakers. Once you reach your destination, you can step out of the Daymakers with a flick of the wrist and the low-profile, unobtrusive design allows you to easily stow them in your backpack for the descent.
4Bar Tech - Easy walking WITHOUT touring ski boots
The revolutionary 4 Bar Tech hinge creates the natural stride of ski touring by replacing the single pivot point of other touring bindings with a linkage-controlled virtual pivot point located directly under the ball of the foot. This frees up the range of motion to tour comfortably and effectively in boots with or without walk mode. As the pivot for walking is via the linkage, you don't need any technical fittings in your ski boots to tour with Daymakers!
On flat terrain like approaches, ridge lines or even gentle descents, the Daymakers' -3° neutral stance compensates for the forward lean built into boots and bindings, ensuring a comfortable, upright stance, even with boots without walk mode. When the going gets steeper, 7° and 12.5° climbing aids are available, which can be quickly and easily extended by hand or ski pole using the Easy Levers. The Daymaker Classics are adjustable for sole lengths from 274 mm to 335 mm.
