Elastic pull cord
No jerking, no hassle—just hook it on and ride off
The kommit system consists of a compact, round housing with an elastic pull cord that attaches via a carabiner to the seat tube of the child’s bike and to the seatpost of the adult’s bike. As soon as the child slows down or encounters an incline, the cord automatically tightens and applies a gentle pull—without any sudden jerks that could throw the child off balance. When the child starts pedaling again on their own, the cord simply stays loose and doesn’t interfere with pedaling or steering. After the ride, the entire system can be removed in a flash and stowed in the small bag provided, so it fits in any backpack or jersey pocket.

The material is weather-resistant and was developed for the rigors of everyday trail riding, ensuring it works reliably even in wet or muddy conditions.
