Product Information "Atomic Revent AMID Ski Helmet, Black"
The Revent AMID is a lightweight half-shell helmet for the slopes that can be fastened with one hand and stays comfortable all day without causing any pressure. Weighing about 450 grams in size S, you’ll forget you’re even wearing it after your first few runs.
Atomic Revent AMID: Impact protection and ventilation in one helmet
AMID stands for “ Atomic ” Multi-directional Impact Deflector. The design is engineered to absorb even angled impacts, not just direct hits from above. Atomic states that this provides up to 40 percent more impact protection compared to the industry standard. The dual-shell construction divides the EPS core into two sections, allowing ventilation channels to run through all layers.

Sizes and Head Circumference
M covers 55 to 59 cm, L ranges from 59 to 63 cm, and XL from 63 to 65 cm. Measure your head circumference one finger’s width above your ears. If you fall between two sizes, choose the smaller one and adjust it using the Fit System; a helmet that’s too large will slip off in the event of a fall.
Do the ski goggles fit with it?
The helmet is designed to fit Atomic goggles, but it works just as well with other brands. It’s important that there’s no gap between the rim of the goggles and the edge of the helmet, and that the frame doesn’t press against your nose. It’s best to try on the helmet and goggles together.
How long does a ski helmet last?
As a rule of thumb, five years—less with heavy use. After a hard fall, it needs to be replaced, even if there’s no visible damage on the outside, because the EPS core deforms permanently.
Can I remove the ear pads?
The inner lining with the ear pads can be removed and washed. On warm spring days, this makes the helmet much more breathable.
How do I measure my head circumference correctly?
Wrap a measuring tape horizontally around your head, about a finger’s width above the tips of your ears and across your forehead at the widest point. The measurement in centimeters will tell you your size.
Won’t I get too hot inside the helmet?
The ventilation can be opened and closed. Keep it closed on cold days; open it in the spring. If you sweat a lot, you’ll definitely feel the difference.
How do I clean the helmet?
Wipe the outside with a damp cloth—no solvents. Remove the inner lining and wash it by hand with lukewarm water, then let it air dry; do not place it on a heater.
