Product Information "Head Porsche Radar 5k Photo Mips 2025"
A Porsche Radar 2025 helmet with integrated visor that combines the advantages of ski goggles and a visor helmet. Comfort is guaranteed, and not just for spectacle wearers. What's more, the helmet offers you an almost unrestricted field of vision while effectively protecting you from wind and weather. The double-lens visor is equipped with our first-class 5K Lens Technology and automatically adapts to light conditions between S1 and S3 thanks to its photochromic properties. The new, patent-pending Sphere Fit System rounds off the perfect fit of this innovative Porsche helmet together with the Fidlock buckle and MIPS. These features and the modern, sporty Porsche design make you look good on the slopes.
HEAD visors are windproof, UV-protected and perfect for spectacle wearers. Just like a motorcycle helmet, the visor can be folded down while riding to protect the eyes.
IN-MOLD TECHNOLOGY
With this technology, the shock-absorbing EPS inner layer is injected into the hard polycarbonate outer shell, forming a single unit that offers perfect protection at a low weight.
MIPS
An additional low-friction layer of the MIPS Brain Protection System integrated into the helmet reduces the rotational forces acting on the head in the event of a fall.
SPHERE FIT
The patented Sphere Fit system is a free-hanging fit system. It wraps around the head like a beanie, creating a snug and comfortable fit without applying any pressure.
BOA®
The BOA® Fit System allows you to adapt the helmet perfectly to your head, creating a snug and comfortable fit without any pressure.
5K LENS
The new 5K lens technology has been developed to improve your vision on the mountain. It is designed to improve contrast and increase color vibrancy by filtering specific wavelengths of the visual light spectrum, revealing more detail and ensuring a safer experience on the snow

PHOTOCHROMIC LENS
This lens automatically adjusts its visibility between categories S1 to S3 depending on the weather conditions. The lens gets darker in bright, sunny weather and lets more light through on cloudy days, so you always have the best view regardless of the weather conditions.

great winter sports helmet, unclear whether washing the inner padding is possible
Clean workmanship, good fit, good padding;
Visor system takes some getting used to, must be opened and closed very carefully with both hands (elastic strap system, no hinge), almost only possible with bare hands, coarse snowboard gloves too bulky and risk of scratching the visor. Helmet is very warm (tested in March). I haven't yet found out whether the liner can be removed and washed (my head sweats a lot during intensive carving) - I don't think so.
Great design, great visor.
