The Völkl Racetiger SL is one of those slalom skis that everyone measures themselves against. Since 1970—back then known as the Renntiger—it has stood for short, explosive turns and edge grip that doesn’t let up even on hard ice. The 26/27 generation builds on that very foundation: slightly more torsional stability when initiating turns, but with more feedback from the snow.

Which length is right for you?
Slalom skis are typically shorter than all-around skis. As a general guideline: 165 cm is suitable for a height of approximately 170 to 180 cm, and 170 cm for heights of about 178 cm and up. If you often ski at giant slalom speeds or are heavier, go for the Lange version because it offers a smoother ride. If you value maneuverability and make a lot of short turns, go with the shorter ones. When in doubt, your skiing ability matters more than your height: The Racetiger SL is designed to be skied aggressively.

For racers, ambitious carvers, and anyone who sees a groomed slope as a training ground. It’s too demanding to be a leisurely, fun ski—it requires pressure on the forefoot and, in return, delivers edge grip that hardly any all-around ski can match.

For all skiers who like to go really fast and can't get enough of racing, we have developed the Dobermann GSR RB. Its shape is almost identical to our Dobermann World Cup models - but it has a more playful radius and a less aggressive tip shape, which means it is not FIS-compliant. The GSR RB is balanced, agile and lively thanks to its quick edge changes and offers enormous power and control.
