We designed the Cristallo to give you moisture-wicking warmth and next-to-skin comfort for active use. The hybrid fabric with 78% wool and 22% polyamide quickly wicks moisture away from your body and dries quickly. This makes it the ideal winter baselayer for high octane use.
AlpineWool® Responsive
The Cristallo is based on a hybrid AlpineWool® Responsive material consisting of 78% wool and 22% polyamide. The synthetic fibers are enhanced with our proprietary Responsive technology, which is based on a special blend of natural thermoreactive minerals. Responsive recycles far infrared energy (FIR) from your body and releases it slowly over time. This contributes to greater stamina and endurance and means you recover faster and stay warmer for longer. These benefits last for the life of the fabric as And as Responsive is an integral part of the fabric and will not wash out. Responsive technology has been tested and proven by alpinists and scientists alike.
Innovative design
The Cristallo has a slim fit with a round neckline and a design with folded sleeves for greater freedom of movement. Its high polyamide content further enhances its durability and mechanical stretch properties. Our innovative knitting process makes it possible to create a one-piece seamless torso with a round neckline. It is super comfortable to wear and there is no chafing. The knitting process also enhances the natural properties of the wool fibers.
