Rumpl – Quilted blankets with outdoor roots from the U.S.
Rumpl Hailing from California, the brand specializes in quilted blankets originally inspired by sleeping bags. The result is blankets that are far more durable and warmer than traditional wool blankets, yet just as cozy for snuggling on the sofa or by the campfire. For anyone who spends a lot of time outdoors—whether on the patio after a day of skiing or while camping— Rumpl offers an alternative that withstands wind and moisture far better than conventional textiles. The blankets are also machine-washable and pack down small, making them a practical companion for on the go.
Warmth that works outdoors, too
The main difference from a regular blanket lies in the filling. Rumpl uses synthetic insulation fibers, similar to those found in high-quality jackets, which allow the blankets to retain their warmth even in humid conditions or light rain. The durable outer material is water-repellent and can withstand a lot, whether you’re sitting in the snow after your last run or enjoying a spring picnic. Many models also come in eye-catching colors and patterns, offering a welcome change from classic outdoor products. In our travel blanket category you’ll find an overview of the current selection from “ Rumpl.”
Our recommendation for cozy moments
The Rumpl Original Puffy Blanket Rocky Mountain is especially popular. It’s perfect for snuggling up on the lodge terrace after a long day on the slopes or simply keeping it in the car for spontaneous stops. The Rocky Mountain-patterned design fits right in with the mountain scenery and also makes a great little gift. If you’re looking for a lightweight yet warm blanket for outdoor use, this Rumpl blanket is a great choice.
