Pro Standard
Pro Standard is no ordinary accessory manufacturer. Behind the brand is Ken Achenbach—a former professional snowboarder, photographer, filmmaker, and co-inventor of the twin-tip snowboard, on which all modern boards are based. With over 40 years of experience on the snow, in the water, and behind the camera, he knows exactly what’s missing—and then simply develops it himself.
Founded in 2012, Pro Standard delivers camera mounts and accessories that have been designed in the field and rigorously tested for months all over the world: while surfing in Tahiti, snowboarding in Whistler, biking, and climbing. No guesswork, no compromises—just products that really work

Camera mounts that really work
Founded in 2012, the first Pro Standard products were born out of simple frustration: existing GoPro mounts were too limited, too wobbly, too one-dimensional. Ken’s answer was the Grill Mount—the most versatile action camera mount on the market. Mouth mount, handle, tripod, bottle mount, and wall mount all in one. Official POV mount for Insta360.
It wasn’t developed at a desk, but over months of surfing in Tahiti, snowboarding in Whistler, biking, and climbing—in Hawaii, Canada, Australia, and Bali. Only after countless prototypes and genuine feedback from surfers, skiers, and filmmakers did the final product hit the market.
