The principle behind “ Pro Standard ” is incredibly simple: An additional lever is mounted at the top of your binding’s highback and extended so that your hand can reach it immediately without having to bend over much. With the Pull-Button models for “ Nidecker ” Supermatic bindings, you simply pull the button briefly, and the binding releases without having to bend down toward your heel. With the push-button versions for Step On bindings, you simply press the button down, and the release mechanism engages immediately. The height of the lever can be individually adjusted so that it doesn’t get in the way while riding or stepping in, yet remains within easy reach at all times. The system can be installed in just a few minutes using a standard Phillips-head screwdriver, without any additional special tools or modifications to the binding itself.
