The new Dobermann collection looks as stylish as it performs. After all, Nordica has been synonymous not only with performance but also with design since it was founded in 1939. The fifth Dobermann generation was designed to look particularly aesthetically pleasing, making it particularly worthy of this legendary collection family.
We have integrated the classic Dobermann logos directly into the shell shape on the inside of the cuff. Shiny black, they stand out on the elegant matt brushed surface. The piercing and aggressive red eyes flash on the back of the shaft. The black-wrapped ski boot camouflages the appearance - an unmistakable indication of its merciless performance.
To revolutionize the Dobermann collection, we first focused on the shell of the boot. Our premise was to give it as anatomical a shape as possible, both inside and out.
This allowed us to significantly reduce the volume of the shoe - especially in the midfoot area and at the heel. This not only maximizes precision and responsiveness, but also further enhances the Dobermann's performance. During the development process, we carefully analyzed and innovatively revised the shell in the heel area. We have managed to reduce the overall length of the sole by 5 mm - regardless of the shoe size. This shortened sole length not only increases the stability of the shell, but also allows the ski to flex more naturally. This allows it to develop its full potential. This meticulous further development of the shell shape and construction has made the boot even more responsive. This enables even faster, more agile edge changes. For the fifth generation of the Dobermann collection, we also took a closer look at the connection construction between the shell and cuff. We have cleverly increased the heel angle of the boot, which has enabled us to noticeably improve control and responsiveness during turn transition.

Control and circulation in the same ski boot
These boots are stiff and have a low volume. The Nordica Dobermann happens to fit my foot shape very well, which is why I chose it. It's a high-performance boot that is very comfortable once I find the right settings. An insole tailored to your needs is recommended as all ski boots come with a rather flat insole.
I've also found that it's very difficult to put these boots on the traditional way, especially in cold weather, so I've tried the "world-cupping" method, where you first put on the liner with laces and then step into the shell. This works much better for me.
