Head WCR e.GS Rebel Team + EVO 9 GW CA 2027 Junior Giant Slalom Ski

The Head WCR e.GS Rebel Team is the giant slalom ski for young athletes on the racing team: it features the World Cup sandwich construction of the full-size FIS ski, scaled down to junior lengths, weight, and radii. Comes as a set with the WCR Team racing base and the Head EVO 9 GW CA binding, mounted and adjusted in our workshop.

Head WCR e.GS Rebel Team with EVO 9 GW CA: Junior GS for club races up to FIS level

Wood core, Titanal, and graphene—just like the World Cup model—plus EMC F damping with a piezo element in the tip that absorbs vibrations on hard-packed slopes. For 2027, Head has reinforced the sidewalls; the ski transfers power more directly to the edge and maintains a cleaner giant slalom turn. New sidecuts and an adjusted length progression make carving more accessible for young racers. Positive camber (Rebel Camber) for pressure at the turn exit and acceleration, with a race-spec UHM C base factory-fitted.

Head EVO 9 GW CA

The EVO 9 GW CA is Head’s lightweight junior racing binding in Speed Blue, with a Z-value of 2.5 to 9 and an 85 mm brake. GripWalk CA means: It accommodates alpine soles per ISO 5355 (Types A and C) and GripWalk soles per ISO 23223 without requiring any adjustment to the sole height. We mount the binding on the WCR Team plate and adjust it for weight, height, sole length, and skier type. Please specify the sole length of your ski boot when placing your order.

Who is it for and what lengths are available?

For children and teens in ski clubs or elite programs who train in giant slalom and compete in races, from club races up to the U16 level. When selecting race skis, the choice is based on category and weight, not body height; a 140 cm ski generally fits U12 and lighter U14 skiers. If you’re unsure, we’ll be happy to advise you in the store.
