Giro Grid Spherical: lightweight backcountry ski helmet with MIPS
Spherical Technology powered by MIPS consists of two helmet shells of different densities that shift against each other in the event of a fall, reducing rotational energy. You can adjust the ventilation ports depending on your activity level. The In Form 2 Fit System adjusts the helmet with a dial, and the Fidlock magnetic closure can be secured with one hand—even while wearing gloves.

Usage and Fit
Ski touring, splitboarding, freeriding, and on-piste. Measure your head circumference above your ears and eyebrows, and choose the size that falls within that range.
Care
Remove the inner padding and wash it by hand; clean the helmet with mild soapy water. Replace after a hard fall.
Is the Grid Spherical also a climbing helmet?
No, the Grid is certified to the ski helmet standard. It’s ideal for ski touring, but for climbing you’ll need a helmet that meets the climbing helmet standard.

The Grid is one of the lightest ski helmets from Giro. The exact weight depends on the size; Giro does not provide official weight specifications per size.
What size do I need?
