Product Information "Line Sakana Ski 2027"
The Line Sakana 2027 is the swallowtail ski that combines carving and slashing in a single ski: 150-105-138 mm, a short multi-radius of 14.7 m, and a Titanal-reinforced swallowtail. Line has made it sturdier and more freestyle-oriented for the 2026/27 season, with a slightly raised tail, thick-cut sidewalls, and bio-resin.
Line Sakana: the Swallowtail for the whole mountain
The 5CUT sidecut with five radii turns the Sakana into a short-radius carver on the piste, while the wide tip and dovetail tail let it float and glide in powder. The Early Rise Rocker (10-4-0 mm) with camber under the binding provides edge grip, while the core made of paulownia and maple with a carbon-flax band keeps the ski lightweight at 1,940 g per ski. New features include the thick Thick-Cut Sidewalls and Thin Tips, both designed for greater durability on rails and side hits, plus bio-resin containing 31% bio-based carbon. Sintered Fatty Base with a thickness of 1.7 mm and 2.1 x 2 mm edges.

Intended Use
All-Mountain, Freeride, and Side Hits: short turns on the piste, slashes in soft snow, and the park when necessary. For advanced to expert skiers.
What length is right for me?
Thanks to its swallowtail, the Sakana feels shorter than it actually is. The 174 cm model is suitable for riders between 170 and 185 cm tall; those who prefer stability in off-piste terrain should choose the 181 cm model.
What are the benefits of the Swallowtail?
The tail sinks into the powder, the tip floats, allowing the ski to glide without leaning back. On the piste, the effective edge remains long, and the ski carves cleanly.
Which binding?
Any alpine binding with a brake, 110 mm or wider, mounted at the -109 mm mark. We’ll mount and adjust the bindings in Lengnau.
