Product Information "Black Crows Vena Cor Freeride Ski 2026"
The Black Crows Vena Cor is the new all-around ski from Chamonix for everything from groomed runs to deep powder: 100 mm under the binding, a short turning radius of 17 m, double rocker with a fishtail, and a poplar wood core with fiberglass and full-length carbon strips on the top and bottom. It carves on the piste, floats in powder, and—thanks to its freestyle DNA—lets you play in the backcountry. Mounting point: -5 cm; semi-cap construction with ABS sidewalls; color: Black Neon Yellow. Delivered without bindings.
Black Crows Vena Cor: A freeride ski for the groomed slopes, powder, and everything in between
Black Crows describes the Vena Cor as a ski that can do it all—but better. The 100 mm waist width provides enough float for tracked-out snow and powder; the medium camber underfoot maintains edge grip on the piste; and the double rocker at the tip and tail makes the ski responsive and easy to pivot. The relatively short sidecut ensures fast turns and plenty of responsiveness, while the flex is consistently medium along the entire length. The carbon strips provide tension and damping without making the ski feel twitchy. If you’re looking for an all-around ski that lets you carve in the morning, play in the park at noon, and hit the backcountry in the afternoon, the Vena Cor is the right choice.

Intended Use
Freeride and all-mountain with a freestyle twist. For skiers who want a single pair of skis for the entire winter. At just under 1.8 kg per ski, it’s too heavy for dedicated ski tourers—that’s what the Freebird models are for. You’ll find compatible bindings in our ski bindings section; we’ll handle the installation at our ski service center.
What length is right for me?
As a freeride all-rounder, you’ll ride the Vena Cor at about your height or slightly longer. 181 cm for riders between about 175 and 185 cm, 188 cm for taller or very fast riders.
Does it come with bindings?
No, the ski comes without bindings. We’ll mount any alpine or hybrid binding with a 100 mm brake, such as the Marker, Griffon, or Jester.
Can I go ski touring with these?
You can do that with a hybrid binding like the Salomon Shift or Marker Duke PT, but the ski is designed for downhill skiing and isn’t optimized for lighter riders.
How does it differ from the Mirus Cor?
The Mirus Cor is narrower at 96 mm, has a more pronounced sidecut, and is designed more for carving and the groomed slopes. The Vena Cor is wider, has more rocker, and is the better choice for powder and off-piste.
