The Crab Grab Scromper is a stomp pad and sole scraper in one: 144 mm long, made of flexible Crubber, with scraper teeth that let you scrape snow and ice out of the boot profile before stepping into the binding. This saves you a lot of hassle, especially with step-in bindings and in wet snow. Color: Clear; one pad per pack.

The teeth are positioned so that you can run the sole over them once, leaving the tread exposed. In between runs, they grip into the sole’s tread—just like the Shark Teeth—when you stand with your back foot on the pad while exiting the lift. Crubber stays flexible in cold weather and can be cut to size; the Screw Glue adhesive holds on all topsheets.

Who is the Scromper designed for?

How to Apply the Pad Correctly
Bring the board to room temperature, clean the area in front of the rear binding with alcohol or wax remover, and let it dry. Peel off the protective film, place the pad on the board, press firmly for 30 seconds, and let the adhesive cure for 24 hours at room temperature before hitting the snow. Do not apply when temperatures are below freezing.
Can I also use the Scromper just as a scraper?
Yes, many people stick it next to the binding and use it only for cleaning the base. It also works as a stomp pad.
Where do I place the pad?
Right in front of or between the bindings, where your back foot rests when riding the lift or pushing off. The best way is to stand on the board with your boots on and mark the spot.
Does the adhesive also stick to textured topsheets?
Yes, Crab Grab uses its proprietary Screw Glue, which adheres to smooth and slightly textured topsheets. It’s important to ensure a clean, grease-free surface and allow 24 hours for curing at room temperature.
Can I still wax the board with the pad on?
Yes, the pad sits on the topsheet and does not interfere with waxing or edge grinding.
