The three-layer mask consists of CoolNet UV+ fabric, which is made of 95% recycled polyester. The mask contains a replaceable filter system developed by the Finnish specialists at Ahlstrom-Munksjö and features a bacterial filtration efficiency of 98%. The filter meets the standard for surgical masks (UNE EN 14683) for bacterial filtration efficiency (BFE%) and differential pressure, thus guaranteeing the lowest breathing resistance. In addition, HeiQ ViroBlock® technology, an antibacterial treatment applied to the inner pocket fabric of the mask, protects it from microbes and germs while also helping to control odors. This special coating lasts through up to ten washes at 60 ° Celsius.
Thanks to its adjustable fit and light weight, the BUFF® Filter Mask is also comfortable to wear over longer periods. The ergonomic design avoids unpleasant pressure points behind the ears, as the mask is attached around the back of the head and neck, making it barely noticeable for the wearer.
