We are not the ones who apologize when we show up late to a party. For us to release a splitboard, it had to be the right time and with the right people behind it. Taking the powerful and versatile design of our Optimistic and adapting it to the needs of our team and our partners at Eagle Pass Heli was the first step in making this program legitimate. We then worked with our friends at Spark R&D to design and develop a simple (read: reliable), lightweight clip system that maintains the torsional integrity of the solid Optimistic so you can rip it down to your line with uncompromising confidence after that long leg burn.

If you're looking for a board that you can do everything with, you'll find it with the Nidecker Escape 2025. It's the golden mean: not too hard, but not too soft either and with a super versatile shape to rock the whole mountain. Probably the first thing you'll notice is the beautiful ash veneer topsheet. Together with the Vibrak Kevlar inserts under the inserts, it dampens vibrations and reduces board flutter. Add to that a positive camber and Triax fiberglass for responsiveness on the edge and plenty of ollie power when you take to the air.
