The Swix T047G is a deep red anodized jewel of a structure tool. The T047G was built by Finite especially for SWIX and stands out from the audible, sport-driven rollers. It gives the ski base beautiful, long-lasting and complex patterns.
The tool comes in a plastic case lined with firm foam and includes 5 rollers (listed below) that cover typical texture needs across the temperature scale. Made in the USA.
Textured rolls included are:
- Broken V texture, 0.5 mm. (T047G-V05)
- Linear structure, 0.2 mm (T047G-L02)
- Linear structure, 0.75 mm spacing x 0.5 mm depth (T047G-L07505)

Hand texturing
Most of us don't have the luxury of owning several pairs of skis with multiple texture patterns ready to be precisely matched to the current conditions. Stone grinding, while durable and more or less permanent (until the next grinding), is quite costly and therefore not always the best option for frequent texture changes. A hand texturing tool is more suitable. The "roller" style tools we offer are a good choice for matching the texture to the conditions. The texture is easy to apply and is not permanent. For best results, apply the texture of the day to the base of the ski after you have waxed, scraped and brushed the ski.
