Far infrared material technologyThis high-performance baselayer is named after Monte Zebrù, a 3735 meter high mountain in the Ortler Alps bordering South Tyrol. It consists mainly of a merino wool-polyfiber blend, supplemented by special Responsive polyamide yarns enriched with a unique blend of natural thermoreactive minerals. Responsive is an intelligent material that harnesses infrared energy. It absorbs the body's far infrared radiation (FIR) and gradually releases it back into the muscle tissue. Research shows that this stimulates blood circulation, increases cell performance and improves oxygen supply. This makes you more efficient and helps you recover faster. Good to know: Responsive is an integral part of the fibers - the technology remains effective over the entire lifetime of the garment and does not wash out. The Zebru has a close-fitting, athletic performance fit and the half-length zipper allows you to lock in warmth or quickly release it when needed. Thanks to our advanced circular knitting process, the entire upper body is made from one piece - for greater comfort without chafing seams. Lightweight, waterproof, windproof and breathable: the Puez Light Powertex women's jacket offers maximum protection from storms with a minimal pack size. It is named after the Puez Group in the western Dolomites and weighs an incredible 115 grams. This jacket is specially designed for (multi-day) alpine trekking tours or Hautes Routes where a low rucksack weight is important. Its Powertex Eco material offers reliable weather protection (water column: 10,000 mm), high breathability (MVTR: 40,000 g/m²/24 h) and has a coated, storm-resistant, 2.5-layer construction with fully taped seams. This means that the water-repellent outer material is combined with a waterproof/breathable membrane and an additional barrier coating. We've also equipped them with an environmentally friendly, PFC-free, durable water repellent (DWR) finish. And because there is no need for a protective inner lining, the jacket is lighter and even more compressible. Powertex is comfortable against the skin and has a dry, textured feel. The Puez Light jacket has a slim, ergonomically shaped, athletic fit, which is cut slightly longer at the back for additional protection in the seat area and a better fit when moving. It is best worn directly over a moisture-wicking base layer or a lightly insulating mid-layer. The close-fitting hood, cuffs and hem have elasticated edging to protect you from the cold, wind and rain.
