The Index is our new flagship freeride boot and made for backcountry adventures without limits. Full of the latest Nidecker technology and so tough that it can keep up with any big mountain mission, whether it's off-piste hikes or splitboard tours in untouched terrain. We've designed this boot with an asymmetrical upper area that adapts perfectly to your foot and calf with special flex zones. This provides unparalleled control without compromising comfort. The waterproof Storm Cover gives your foot extra protection and prevents the lacing from freezing in deep snow. The BOA High End H4 Coiler with brand new Internal Heel Lock System is adjusted via a rotary knob on the side, the outer boot via a second knob at the front.

Look forward to incomparable comfort with perfect heel hold. For maximum grip on icy surfaces, we have given the boot a high-quality B.F.T Vibram Approach outsole made of Icetrek rubber compound, while a double layer of EVA in the midsole absorbs vibrations on uneven terrain and softly cushions hard landings. The seamless Transition Zone design fuses the outsole with the Exo Spine, preventing your heel from getting caught in the binding and giving you even more power on the heel edge of your board. This solid ride is carried through to the front of the boot with a durable TPU shield called ArmourTech, which protects your toes as you climb to rocky peaks. Inside, the heat-adjustable Gold Level Wrap liner offers maximum comfort and support. Don't be fooled, this model is the absolute pinnacle of boot technology.
