The Mountain Studio ’s P-5 W is the insulated women’s ski pant that pairs with the S-5 W: a three-layer ALP-3 stretch membrane with a 30,000 mm water column and 30,000 g/m²/24h breathability, lightweight synthetic stretch insulation, and a form-fitting, clean cut. The 40-denier fabric, made of 85 percent nylon and 15 percent spandex, stretches in four directions so the pants don’t pinch when you squat or step into your ski boots. Ephemera is a light, muted rose.

The 3D waistband system pulls the waistband snugly against the body at the back, while an insulating panel made of DuPont Sorona keeps the lower back warm on the lift. Cordura edge protection (600D) at the leg cuffs, zippers at the bottom of the legs for easy entry while wearing ski boots, YKK Aquaguard zippers, and a PFAS-free DWR finish. All seams are taped, and a repair kit is included.

Who is the P-5 W designed for?
For female skiers who want warm, slim-fitting pants on the slopes that don’t look like cotton-padded pants. The lightweight insulation takes the edge off cold days without adding bulk while skiing.
Care
Wash at 40 degrees or cold, inside out, separately, and with zippers closed. Use mild detergent; do not use fabric softener, bleach, or dry cleaning. Iron at a low temperature and tumble dry on low heat.
How does the sizing work?
Women’s sizes with a regular ski fit and room for a midlayer. If you wear thick base layers or prefer a looser fit, choose one size larger.
How warm is the P-5 W?
