With a 10,000 mm water column and 10,000 g breathability, the Spikety JR is designed for typical days on the slopes: It reliably keeps out snow and moisture while allowing enough moisture to escape so you don’t get damp while running around. Protest rates warmth and waterproofing as moderate; on cold days, simply wear a pair of technical underwear underneath.
Details that matter on the slopes every day
The waistband fastens with a zipper and snaps, and features an elastic adjustment system on the inside. The suspenders are elastic and can be removed if the child no longer wants them. A zipper at the leg opening ensures the pants slide easily over ski boots, while elastic snow cuffs on the inside keep snow out. Two zippered side pockets hold a lift ticket and tissues. The fit is regular, with enough freedom of movement for skiing, sledding, and building snow forts.

The Spikety JR fits true to size. Size 164 fits a height of approximately 160 to 166 cm, a waist of 69 to 71 cm, and an inseam of 75 to 76 cm. Thanks to the adjustable waistband and suspenders, the pants have enough room to last through a second winter.
Care
Wash separately at 30 degrees, inside out; do not bleach, do not tumble dry, do not iron. If water no longer beads off after a few washes, re-waterproofing will help.
Are the Protest Spikety JR pants waterproof?
