Product Information "The Mountain Studio D-1 RCH Reversible Down Check Jacket for Men, Black Onyx"
The The Mountain Studio D-1 RCH is a reversible jacket with 750 fill power RDS-certified down: One side is smooth and technical with a 10,000 mm water column and 10,000 g/m²/24h breathability, while the other side features a checkered twill pattern for city life, après-ski, and evenings at the lodge. RCH stands for Reversible Check. Black Onyx is a deep black, and the checkered side is a matching muted shade.
The Mountain Studio D-1 RCH Reversible Down Check Jacket in Black Onyx
Both sides are fully featured: one large chest pocket and two hand pockets each, with elastic cuffs to keep out drafts. The helmet-compatible storm hood with an integrated visor is adjustable via a drawcord. The smooth side is windproof, water-repellent, and breathable; YKK Aquaguard zippers and a DuPont Sorona insulation insert complement the down filling. A repair kit is included.

Who is the D-1 RCH designed for?
For skiers and snowboarders who want a really warm jacket on cold days and can wear the same jacket in the city in the evening. For wet, deep-snow days with lots of contact with the snow, a hardshell like the Z-2 EPE is the better choice; the D-1 RCH is the choice for dry, cold conditions.
Care
Wash at 40 degrees or cold, inside out, separately, and with zippers closed. Use mild detergent; do not use fabric softener, bleach, or dry cleaning. Iron at a low temperature and tumble dry on low heat.
How does the sizing work?
Men’s sizes feature an ergonomic, athletic cut that leaves room for a midlayer. If you wear thick midlayers underneath or prefer a looser fit, choose one size larger.
Which side should I wear on the outside?
Both. The smooth side is the technical version for the mountains, while the checkered side is for the city and the cabin. Both feature chest and hand pockets.
Is the jacket waterproof?
The smooth side has a 10,000 mm water column rating and is water-repellent; it is not intended for continuous rain.
How warm is the jacket?
750 fill power RDS down—that’s a warm winter jacket for cold days on the lift and around town.
Does it come with a repair kit?
Yes, The Mountain Studio includes a repair kit with every item so that minor damage can be fixed on your own.
